Application for Increase of Pension

I respectfully beg to apply for an increase of pension.

Owing to a breakdown in health, it was necessary for me to return to England with three children who still attend school. I find the present pension inadequate as I am unable to work now and the cost of living is so high.

My pension now is £20.0.9. p.a. My husband was the late Sergt. Stendall of the Hong Kong Police and served 26½ years in the Colony. He also served Y years R.A.

I trust that with such long foreign service, it will be possible to make a substantial increase.

Thanking you in anticipation, I beg to remain,

Your obediently,

Mrs. H. Stendall
